In our second installment of "A Family Portrait", we look at the story of Joseph, and how relationships between parents and children affect the relationships between siblings. Although the relationships between Joseph and his brothers lead to some extreme circumstances, there are still principles we can apply to our families today.

Today we look at the story of Jacob and Esau and how Jacob and his mother decieved Esau and his father
so that Jacob recieved the fathers blessing instead of Esau. we will look at how we can apply principles from this story to our lives and families today.

A Family Portrait
"Sacrifice"
This is the last message in this series, today we look at the story of Abraham and Isaac, and how Abraham was willing to sacrifice his only son to obey God, and how God provided a ram instead when He seen Abrahams willingness to lay down everything. We take away the lesson from this that we need to give up or sacrifice things in our lives that we hold more dear than our relationship with God. We also need to accept and be thankfull for the amazing sacrifice God gave for us, His only Son, Jesus Christ, that we can have a relationship with Him.
